Shilong is a graduate student at Rutgers University studying Biophysics in SHI Lab. He is interested in membrane biophysics and single-molecule techniques. He uses fluorescence microscopy to study membrane protein localization and dynamics. He also uses micropipette aspiration, optical tweezers and patterned illumination. Cell culture is also involved heavily.

Shilong will be joinging Dr. Hao Wu's lab in 2026.

Shilong is so fortunate to be in love with Tia!

Feel free to ask Shilong any questions!
